Cassi Namoda is painter and performance artist who grew up between Mozambique, Hati and America - her work reflects on the balance of these cultures. In Pippy Houldsworth Gallery’s ‘Little is Enough for Those in Love’ show, Namoda paints scenes depicting memories as well as imagined narratives. I like the way she uses colours to capture particular emotions and atmosphere.
